I’m Sohrab Ismail-Beigi. My day job is at Yale, in the Department of Applied Physics, where my research group studies materials using first-principles (ab initio) electronic structure methods. You can find all of that on my work page.

Gravity Wars
A two-player space game: each player fires photon torpedoes at the other’s ship, and the planets’ gravity bends every shot. I wrote the first version in Turbo Pascal in 1989 and rewrote it in PERL/Tk in 2002.
